Nelly on her wedding day

Today as she celebrates her 56th, her message to the world reads " As I celebrate my Birthday today, it can only be by God's grace and mercy. Am not worthy but he loves me beyond measure. I want to thank my 'Iroko' my Husband for giving me peace of heart and my lovely children who makes to know what motherhood is all about. To my loving friends who are ever ready to be by me despite my flaws, I thank you. I pray that my new age will spur me to help humanity and be more closer to God for granting me this opportunity to rewrite all my wrongs. On my knee I say Chukwu Okike Nara Ekenem na Abu oma. Praises and praises. Hallelujah hallelujah to the Most High. Thank you Jesus.(See more photos)
